Here are the steps to enable tweak injection on your Fugu15 Max device using ElleKit:

As Fugu15 Max is currently under development, the public beta IPA requires the installation of ElleKit to enable tweak injection on iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.4.1.

To start, download and install ElleKit from the ElleKit.Space repository to your device.

Once installed, you can now install rootless tweaks on your phone and enable them to work on Fugu15.

However, since the jailbreak is still in public beta, the installation process needs to be done manually. The good news is that the process will be automated in the future for easier installation.

What Is Fugu15 Max Jailbreak?

Fugu15 Max jailbreak is a newly-developed jailbreak designed to support all modern iOS 15.4 through iOS 15.4.1 devices, including A12+ models. This jailbreak was created by Lars Fröder [@opa334dev] and is built on the original Fugu15 proof of concept by Linus Henze. The Fugu15 Max jailbreak offers enhanced functionality compared to Fugu15 by providing support for tweak injection and improved exploit performance. However, this feature is still under development and currently does not work.

To enable end-users to utilize Sileo and install tweaks tailored for rootless jailbreaks, Fugu15 Max was designed with them in mind. But the jailbreak has limitations as it can only work on iOS 15.4 – iOS 15.4.1, due to the Wi-Fi bug panic that can be triggered by user space rebooting on earlier versions, even when Wi-Fi is disabled. This issue is also present in Fugu15 jailbreak.

Although the source code for Fugu15 Max is currently available for compilation, it does not yet support tweak injection, making it impractical for end-users. However, the jailbreak will be made available as an IPA package that can be installed permanently with TrollStore.

Fugu15 Max is expected to establish itself as a conventional jailbreak with tweak injection capabilities via the Ellekit tweak hooking library. However, an expected release date has not yet been announced. As such, the Fugu15 Max jailbreak remains an exciting development to watch for those interested in iOS jailbreaking.

However, iOS developer @evelyneee seems to have found a solution with their fully open-source and Swift-based tweak injection method called ElleKit. It appears to be comparable to Substitute and libhooker and is already mostly working for Fugu15, according to a tweet shared by the developer.

Although ElleKit isn’t supported system-wide and doesn’t yet support hooking C functions, it’s a serious step in the right direction for people who’ve been waiting for a public jailbreak solution.

ElleKit could potentially be deployed as a tweak injection method on Fugu15 and possibly even ra1ncloud, a Fugu15-based jailbreak that offers a more user-friendly interface.
